MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
It is famed as one of the world's top reserves. It covers an area of about 1,500 sq km. This is where the popular Big Cats documentary that attracted large audience in Europe and America was shot. In the reserve, chances of seeing the struggle of survival between animals are high. The reserve's games include Leopards, Buffalos, Hyenas, giraffes, Elephants, baboons, birds, ostriches antelopes and Gazelles. Every year, in July the park becomes the destination of the greatest animal migration in the world. Thousands of Wildebeests and Zebras that stretch to up to a mile migrate from Serengeti, crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River. They migrate to the Savannah grassland in search of pastures. Carnivores and birds also migrate with them. It is one of the World' s best spots to see the nature balances it self; the struggle of survival between the animals.
